Aethera leverages state-of-the-art numerical weather prediction (NWP) models. By integrating high-resolution meteorological data feeds, we offer hourly updates and 14-day forecasts with global coverage. Our forecasting models aggregate inputs from national meteorological agencies worldwide, including NOAA, DWD, ECMWF, and MET Norway.

Editorial Guidelines & Verification

Aethera is committed to providing the highest quality meteorological insights. Our editorial and forecasting guidelines center on three core principles:

• Verification First: We cross-verify all automated forecasts against regional weather reports and ground station observations. Major warnings (monsoons, high winds, heavy snow) are calibrated with alerts from the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM) of Nepal.
• Microclimate Correction: Standard global models frequently fail in complex, high-altitude terrain. We apply elevation-lapse correction algorithms to account for the dramatic elevation changes in the Himalayas.
• Correction & Transparency: When forecasts deviate due to unforeseen microclimates, our technical board updates local grid data and publishes retroactive accuracy logs.
